We collect the information needed to run the service, including:

• Account and profile data such as email, display name, and auth identifiers.
• Digest configuration data such as digest names, descriptions, schedules, sources, and section prompts.
• Source content metadata and content snapshots pulled from platforms you connect, plus content forwarded to your inbox source address.
• Delivery data such as generated digest content, send status, and open timestamps.
• Billing and subscription data such as tier, trial and grace period status, Polar customer identifiers, and billing webhook event IDs.
• Technical and security data such as logs, request metadata, and abuse-prevention signals.

• Authenticate users and secure accounts.
• Fetch, process, summarize, and deliver digests based on your selected sources and prompts.
• Operate subscription billing, free trials, and plan limits.
• Send transactional messages (welcome, delivery, billing-related notices, account events).
• Improve reliability, detect abuse, and debug issues.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We share information with processors that help run the product, such as:

• Firebase Authentication for identity and sign-in.
• Resend for transactional email delivery.
• Polar for subscription checkout and billing state.
• OpenRouter and model providers for AI summarization features.
• SearchAPI, ScraperAPI, and xAI/Grok for connected-source retrieval and platform integrations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect users and the service.

If you enable public sharing for a digest, the public slug, digest details, and published issues can be viewed by anyone with the link and may be indexed or cached by third parties.

We retain account and digest data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify data associated with your user record, except where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, billing reconciliation, or legal compliance.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

• Update profile and timezone in account settings.
• Disable public sharing for any digest at any time from the app.
• Delete your account from settings.
• Use unsubscribe controls in delivery emails for digest sends.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own by us and our service providers.

Reduce is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
